LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS: 

Great Waters Scholarships - Deadline April 30, 2023 -  Three $2500.00 Scholarships offered to Lakes Region seniors who are interested in pursuing their study in the performing arts.  Application opens in March 2023.  Click HERE for more information. 

Annalee Thorndike Art Competition/Scholarship - Deadline April 1, 2023 - Open to Lakes Region art seniors - Some of the requirements:   Students should submit a blended portfolio that is comprised of five (5) original works of art; drawings, paintings, collage and print forms.  The additional areas included photography, digital art forms and 3D works.  Please note that although submissions may be accepted in these additional areas they cannot be exclusively from these three areas.  A personal sketchbook and an artist statement is also required.   While not required, paintings may be framed or matted.  Click HERE for application.

New Hampshire Police Association Pipes & Drums Scholarship - Deadline April 19, 2023 - Open to most NH Seniors - Click HERE for application 

New England Service Scholarship (Red Sox Foundation)  - Deadline March 31, 2023 - Click HERE for more information and to apply.

Abbie Sargent Memorial Scholarship - Deadline April 15, 2023 - Open to NH Seniors with financial need. Must be a graduate of an approved high school with average or better grades and enrolled in an institution of higher learning for the upcoming 2023 fall semester.  Click HERE for application.

Julia T. Pingree Student Scholarship - Deadline April 1, 2023 - Open to NH Seniors pursuing further education in a business-related or education-related program.  Click HERE for application.

NHWPCA Student Scholarship - Deadline March 24, 2023 - Open to NH students applying to a post-secondary school with an environmental focused major (ie:  Water Quality Technology, Environmental Science, Engineering and Chemistry.)  Click HERE for on-line application.  Click HERE to print an application.

Manchester Artists Association Scholarship - Deadline May 1, 2023  - Open to any NH senior who has been accepted to an accredited art school, college or university with the intention of pursing a career in applied or fine arts.  Click HERE for more information.  Click HERE for application.

League of NH Craftsmen Scholarship - Deadline April 1 - Anyone living in New Hampshire or within ten miles of its border is eligible to receive a High School Senior Craft Education Scholarship. The application process is competitive. The Education Committee is interested in supporting intensive educational activities that present creative approaches to learning and are designed to:  Meet the challenges of a career as a professional craftsperson - Develop a personal interest in a craft discipline - Improve personal understanding of a craft-related topic such as design or aesthetics - Advance a skill or learn a new technique in a craft medium - Enhance individual creativity.  Click HERE for on-line application 

2023 New England Journalism Student Scholarship - Deadline March 31 - Be a resident of New England (CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, or VT).   Must be a senior in high school or an undergraduate college student, studying journalism or a related field, planning to attend college in Fall 2023.  Have a GPA of 3.0 or above.  Demonstrate a serious interest in a career in journalism by sending: a cover letter, transcript, resume or biography, letter of recommendation, AND a body of published work in a school news publication, general circulation newspaper, or a similar publication AND/OR a body of work prepared for a journalism class. The Women’s Transportation Seminar 2023 Undergraduate Scholarship is now available for current and past NH high school students, as well as college students currently studying in the state. Motivated students and young women pursuing undergraduate studies in transportation-related fields, such as engineering, science, technology and math are encouraged to apply. Up to two undergraduate scholarships in the amount of $2,500 or more will be awarded. For more details email clarks@wseinc.com.

The Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship -  Early response deadline 4/3/23 - Regular deadline 5/1/2023 - The Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund offers renewable, four-year scholarships to students with financial need who display academic achievement, a commitment to serving others (in school, their community, or at home), a strong work ethic, and leadership qualities.  Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.  Application must be submitted using the online application form.  Click HERE for more information.

The Medallion Fund: This scholarship is to assist students who are going into a vocational or technical program that does not lead to a four-year degree. There is no application deadline; you can apply any time during the year.  Applications are available at the NH Charitable Foundation web site.  NH Charitable Scholarship Foundation.

New Hampshire Charitable Foundation (NHCF) -  *Sandwich students can apply to the Doris Benz Scholarship through NH Charitable Foundation. All students are welcome to apply to NHCF as it provides awards to students who are pursuing 2-year, 4-year and vocational scholarships. This is an online application at nhcf.org .  NH Charitable Scholarship Foundation.
