Dress Code

I am very glad to see that the warm weather has arrived in New Hampshire. Based on the arrival of warm weather, I would like to remind students and parents of the dress code for I-LMT. It is essential to the learning process that students dress appropriately. Appropriate dress in the educational setting shows respect for self and others. Students are to wear shorts and skirts of modest length. A good guideline is while standing in a relaxed stance, the end of the fingertips when arms are held to the sides should reach the bottom of the shorts/skirts.

Guidelines prohibit shirts that expose the midriff or cleavage. For young ladies, tube tops and tank tops that have straps smaller than one inch are not allowed. Tank tops for boys are not allowed. Clothing should fit so underwear is not exposed. Students who are in violation of the dress code will be required to change before returning to class. Parental contact will be made as necessary. The point of the I-LMT Dress Code is to promote a respectful community where learning is the focus. Please contact me with any questions or concerns regarding the dress code.
