The pre-schoolers recently learned all about farms as we illustrated which farm animals live in our "barns" and sequenced pictures that tell a story about a pig that gets muddy. The students also completed farm animal shape puzzles, used crumpled tissue paper to create cows and sang "Old MacDonald".
This week, we will learn about different vegetables that grow on farms. The children will cut apart and try different garden vegetables and complete vegetable puzzles. We will also plant vegetable seeds, illustrate books about veggies and sort which items are vegetables and which ones are not. Next week, we will learn about fruit!
