7th and 8th Grade

 
 

The learning goals for 7th and 8th grade art students   are simply:

  1. Bullet To be given multiple opportunities to create, 
         communicate and express ideas

  2. Bullet To help develop artistic skills and individual styles

  3. Bullet To identify the elements and principles of design
         and be able to incorporate them into original
         artwork

  4. Bullet To gain an appreciation of the importance of art
         history and cultural differences

  5. Bullet To tap into the “right” side of the brain

  6. Bullet To “feed your spirit”

  7. Bullet To build community through an atmosphere of
        respect and tolerance for one another.
